Pittsburgh Artist Registry

Due to changes in internet protocols, the Pittsburgh Artist Registry is undergoing renovations. Unfortunately, this means that users are currently unable to create new profiles and current profiles are not able to be modified. However, artists and clients are still able to access an archive of the registry here.

We understand that The Pittsburgh Artist Registry has been an important resource for the Pittsburgh arts community since 2007. Shiftworks is dedicated to creating a new and improved registry that responds to and supports an ever-growing user base. This work is ongoing, and we will keep you updated on our progress.

If you have questions, please contact Derek Reese via email at derek@shiftworkspgh.org

Free to join and use, the registry provides artists with unlimited online portfolio space and allows users to quickly search and sort artists and artworks using a variety of detailed search queries.

The Pittsburgh Artist Registry is an online portal that connects artists living in Southwestern Pennsylvania with curators, arts venues, and entities seeking to commission artwork.

With over 1,300 artist members, the registry provides the most comprehensive online collection of visual artists, performers, and writers in Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Sift

Sift is a virtual exhibition space located on the Pittsburgh Artist Registry website. Notable arts professionals from around the country are periodically invited to virtually sift through the registry and curate a selection of works. The collection, along with information about the curator and their selection process, are exhibited and archived on the site. Each launch of the virtual collection coincides with an in-person artist reception that allows for the artists, curators, and Shiftworks staff to mingle and network.
